It has been thirty years of journey in cinema as director, actor, producer, writer, music director for S Narayan. Interesting is that on his 25th year as director – Chaitrada Premanjali was released in 1991 end, his 50th film ‘JD’ went on the floor. It has been illustrious journey for most of the years.


On 25th year as director 25 crores cinema is what S Narayan is taking on. On his 50th film S Narayan is changing considerably in narration and technicality. He is opening up to this generation. He is going more nearer to people. A team of technicians are working on technical aspects. I am visiting Hollywood for this film purpose to know better and then apply in this film.


I am directing this film and there are 32 good supporting actors. We need 20 caravans to maintain all actors. At this 50th film direction time S Narayan remembered all those who helped him to reach this position. There are many well wishers in my life. Mentioning PRO Nagendra, S Narayan said many a times I have cried with him. I have shared my miseries with him. He has encouraged me with timely advice.


This film has eight months of hard work already into it. You would see my type of contents and in addition to it several others in this huge film.


Manikanth Khadri is scoring music, Sathya Hegde is cameraman, Dr Ravi Verma handles stunts, Imran Sardaria is dance director. You would see the film on screen probably in next year says Narayan.

He is JDS Narayan today! JD is his film, S is his initial. Of course Narayan is close to JDS chief HD Kumaraswamy.
